FWIW, seems vivid and precise are still listed as having it. === klebers_ is now known as klebers === JanC_ is now known as JanC === JanC_ is now known as JanC [23:11] cjwatson: Hi, may I poke you about LP 1468476 and the possibility of getting the lp cache moved to under ~/.cache/ ? [23:11] Launchpad bug 1468476 in launchpadlib "$HOME/.launchpadlib the right place?" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1468476 [23:17] Unit193: I care less than zero about the XDG dotfiles religion [23:19] if it's in place from the start, fine, whatever; but it's not worth the effort of moving stuff around and thus carrying extra code to handle the two locations, since extra code => extra bugs [23:19] I'm not wontfixing it since somebody else might care enough to do it, but I won't contribute to it [23:22] if it's just cached data, maybe you don't need to worry about the old location? [23:22] OK, fwiw I was aiming for decluttering ~, not because "XDG said so!" :) [23:23] jbicha: *shrug* I don't even want to have to spend any energy thinking about that for what I consider a non-goal [23:23] Unit193: that does not interest me [23:23] sorry [23:24] cjwatson: Sure, I really do appreciate the definite answer. [23:26] I'm not totally convinced there aren't credentials cached in there in some modes - I might be wrong about that, but the code is quite twisty and it would take definite thought to establish whether that's the case or not [23:27] (normally it'd use python-keyring, but there are several modes)
