[00:48] ? [00:49] Rick and Morty [02:06] Cool? :) [12:28] morning, post-conference recovery day [12:54] morning [13:05] Good Morning. [13:49] rick_h: I have yet to receive an email to proof your video. :( [13:50] cmaloney: k, did you out me down for yours? [13:50] cmaloney: figure it'll get up when it does. [14:00] Well, funny story [14:00] So initially Carl asked around for speakers to review videos [14:00] or rather for them to submit people to review videos [14:01] and I said "hell, I'll just review my own video" [14:01] Well, that wasn't good enough. Had to be someone outside of the conference. [14:01] So I said "fsck" and posted to Twitter [14:01] one of the folks from Sourceforge volunteered [14:01] and I said "Cool! Here's an email!" [14:02] and then Carl tried to forward his GMail to me so I could coordinate putting email addresses into the PyOhio system [14:02] I said "Um, WTF?" (paraphrased) [14:03] Eventually it got sorted where folks could put in their own reviewer email addresses (after some back-and-forth) [14:03] so I noticed that I was your reviewer [14:04] lol, I put you down figuring we'd just review each other's videos [14:04] Yeah, no worries. :) [14:05] But naturally the intentions of having a video to review during the conference seem to have met the reality that video is hard. [14:05] heh [22:17] cmaloney: George started drum camp today. I think they started him with a slow blast beat [22:26] Ruh roh [22:27] You sir, are a better father than I. When Michael went in to try instruments I took drum off the list of valid options [23:28] We'll he already has a drum set, now he's learning to use it properly [23:28] We generally listen from a different floor of the house [23:56] brousch: Nice! [23:57] rick_h: But drums are awesome, especially the more he learns [23:57] I chose drums specifically because I thought it would drive my parents nuts [23:58] turns out they were OK with it and I liked playing drums more than most instruments
