The big question is if I should use the rasbian os (I think most tutorials use it) or if I can follow the tutorial's instructions with ubuntu mate raspberry distro as well. Any advice on this?

[19:41] <dirk__> hello guys. i'm trying to mount an iso-image with loop-option: sudo mount -t auto -o loop "path/to/disk/image" "/path/to/mount/point". it works, but after this it tells me the path were it's mounted is owned by "nobody" and group is "nogroup". how can i change the rights/owner/group of an in that way mounted iso-image?
