[06:33] Antrazi was added by: Antrazi [06:33] @Antrazi, Welcome! [06:34] Hi, pardon me for my bad English. I'm brazilian. [06:34] actually what kamilion did do yesterday @sim [06:34] @tsimonq2 [06:34] @Antrazi, It's cool :) [06:35] @ShiBonCip, He runs a Lubuntu spin with Xen called Kamikazi and he was testing his spin out with the LXQt spin of Lubuntu :) [06:36] (it's a specialized Lubuntu spin that I believe he uses in his job, I could be wrong on that part :P) [06:36] How is the development of Lubuntu 17.10 LXD? I tested iso alpha 2 and it was excellent. [06:37] @Antrazi, LXD? :) [06:37] LXDE* [06:37] Oh ok [06:37] Yeah, it's pretty good :) [06:37] Also, you're the 40th member here \o/ [06:37] \o/ [06:39] Darko28 was added by: Darko28 [06:39] @Darko28, Welcome! It's all cool now, I'm fixing it, I just wanted to let you know. :) [07:20] @tsimonq2, OK thanks :-) Show me the diff when it's finished, I'm curious to see what I missed [07:20] @julienlavergne, Alright :) [07:33] @julienlavergne The gist of it is this: [07:33] - gdebi-gtk-pkexec isn't really needed because the program can run as the regular user, it just needs root access to do the actual package commands (where it calls gksu in GDebi/GDebiGtk.py). [07:33] - You forgot to install the policykit file and it doesn't work without it installed (and setup.py doesn't actually install it in the deb, I had to create an install file under debian/). [07:33] - Lastly, you forgot to edit the command in GDebi/GDebiGtk.py to call pkexec instead of gksu. [07:33] Otherwise, thanks for the initial work (the policy file with the French translation) :) [07:33] I'll get you a diff in a few minutes. [07:44] @julienlavergne https://launchpadlibrarian.net/334154711/gdebi_0.9.5.7+nmu1ubuntu1_0.9.5.7+nmu1ubuntu2~ppa1.diff.gz :) [09:58] That's probably why I didn't push it :-) [11:28] https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/lightweight-linux-distros-neal-rauhauser
