[23:34] <Smaug> hey all. on 16.4. somehow now when I boot it loads the grub command line instead of booting all the way.   I enter

[23:35] <Smaug> and I get dropped into a "busybox" intramfs prompt
[23:35] <Smaug> not sure how to boot from there
[23:35] <Smaug> or if there is something from grub I am missing to boot all the way
[23:35] <jbicha> jamesh: I figured it out, it looks like it's /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager-intern.conf
[23:36] <Smaug> i have seen on the internet that the linux command can also take a "root=  " argument, which I am not using.  Maybe if I add that in it will work?  problem is i'm not sure how to determine the root
[23:36] <Smaug> there isn't anything like /dev/sda in my partition!
