you're looking for new lubuntu alternate dailies and there aren't any, that's because the cronjob has lubuntu all in one line [21:06] so it's all commented out [21:07] slangasek: no no, I was building them but they're failing on the debian-cd step [21:08] slangasek: so it's funny, the reason they fail is because at one step the whole process is failing because of libustr-1.0-1 not being installed but it's required by debootstrap [21:08] slangasek: before Sept the 20th it was found and recognized, now it is not pulled in during the CD creation [21:09] slangasek: looking at cdimage I see in the rawlist.debootstrap output it's there but the rawlist that's actually being used doesn't have it, not sure how it's generated [21:09] slangasek: the seeds show the libustr-1.0-1 is pulled in through the libustr-dev -> libsemanage1-dev chain [21:10] I don't know what could have caused it, checked both the lubuntu and ubuntu seeds and even though there were some changes on the 19th, none of them look like they could be responsible [21:10] sil2100: ok, if it's required by debootstrap then it's a priorities mismatch issue in the archive; but why would any -dev be pulled in by the bootstrap set? [21:10] There was a new libsemanage upload from do_ko on the 19th as well, but the diff doesn't seem to be messing with the deps [21:11] -dev packages shouldn't be part of the debootstrap set [21:11] Well, not sure, I just checked here to learn how this ustr lib is pulled in the first place: http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/germinate-output/lubuntu.artful/supported [21:11] sil2100: 'supported' is not the stuff that's pulled into the image [21:13] and libustr-1.0-1 shows no interesting revdeps [21:14] Yeah, might be that something moved it to supported [21:15] But I didn't see any changes that could have caused that [21:15] Priority: required. [21:15] ^ this is important. [21:16] ah so the issue is that it is currently marked required and it shouldn't be [21:17] cyphermox, sil2100, tsimonq2: fixed; needs an archive publish cycle before it takes effect [21:17] ah I suspect this is NBS [21:18] hmmm strangely not [21:18] but yeah, libsemanage1 seems to have dropped a runtime dep on it [21:18] slangasek: ack [21:19] \o/ [21:20] slangasek: thanks! [21:21] So I was looking at the right direction, but didn't check the bin-dependencies, only source ones [21:22] Invalidly assumed that since libsemanage-dev was still depping on ustr-dev it was all fine ;) Anyway, it looks like I also should have just looked at the cdimage build logs for the 20th image [21:22] cyphermox pointed out it had additional info as it had a task change diff [21:23] * sil2100 learned a lot through this [21:30] so do I [21:32] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: lxd (artful-proposed/main) [2.18-0ubuntu2 => 2.18-0ubuntu3] (edubuntu, ubuntu-server) [21:35] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Builds: Ubuntu Server armhf+raspi2 [Artful Final Beta] has been updated (20170926) [21:39] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: accepted lxd [source] (artful-proposed) [2.18-0ubuntu3] [21:44] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: accepted systemd [source] (artful-proposed) [234-2ubuntu11] [22:03] -queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: slof (artful-proposed/main) [20161019+dfsg-1 => 20170724+dfsg-1] (ubuntu-server) (sync)
