[00:04] That IS odd [00:05] I actually had a similar issue with the gnutls-dev libcurl [00:05] I have libcurl3, but there is no libcurl3-gnutls-dev, I had to install libcurl4-gnutls-dev [00:07] Turns out that solved my problem, and looking into it, apparently libcurl3 and libcurl4 don't change symbols so it doesn't affect compiling (at least to my knowledge). But I was always under the assumption that the number after the package name referred to a specific version of the package... [00:08] If you look at the packages built from gnutls28 source, there are libgnutlsxx28 and libgnutls30 [00:08] So my guess would be that there was a change bumping only one of the libraries (twice), and leaving the -dev package name alone was least disruptive [00:18] aaah I guess that makes sense [00:19] Where did you find that btw? [00:20] 'apt showsrc gnutls28' and some conjecture based on past experience [00:27] Hm, I get an error about putting source URIs in my sources.list, but shouldn't it be populated with the default repo URI? === g[2{GT}] is now known as g2 [01:38] d_ven0m: no, source repos are disabled by default to speed up updates for people, as most people don't need them [01:38] that change was made a couple years ago, iirc; they used to be enabled by default === led_ir23 is now known as led_ir22 [12:32] hey guys, im experiencing this bug in latest 17.10 up to date: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=745032 [12:32] Gnome bug 745032 in wayland "Mouse Tracking 'Laggy' on Wayland, and mouse movements cause frame drops in other OpenGL applications" [Normal,New] [12:33] not sure if its related to each other, but got this bug running for ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1718653 [12:33] Launchpad bug 1718653 in gnome-shell (Ubuntu) "Windows buttons gone on specific programs" [Undecided,Confirmed] [12:57] lotuspsychje: where did you get your theme from?
