=== mnepton is now known as mneptok [07:03] rbasak: pcre3 still ftbfs on s390x, same test failures as -5 [07:05] mwhudson: could you demote golang-1.7 for 17.10? [07:10] doko, good morning [08:07] wgrant, hey, could you kick an artful langpack build? I checked the full export box, going to do another of those for the iso [08:14] tjaalton: can resteasy now be synced? [08:14] doko: yes, since ubuntu has resteasy3.0 too [08:15] or do we [08:16] doko: I haven't pushed resteasy3.0 to ubuntu, it seems [08:25] and debian NEW processing is fairly slow [08:31] is it? [08:33] what is? [08:39] doko: can i? [08:40] doko: i thought that took an AA [08:40] doko: um seems someone has done it [08:41] about a week ago [08:43] mwhudson: I can't see anything [08:44] doko: do you mean demote to universe (already happened) or delete? [08:51] mwhudson: ohh, apparently it already happened last week [08:59] mwhudson: but yes, cleaning up would be nice as well [09:04] mwhudson: [09:04] Reverse-Build-Depends [09:04] ===================== [09:04] * docker.io (for golang-1.7-go) [09:04] * golang-github-gopherjs-gopherjs (for golang-1.7) [09:08] LocutusOfBorg: what needs to happen with the ldc packages? I still see gir-to-d and sambamba [09:39] LocutusOfBorg: i prepared the u-u merge: LP: #1722426 [09:39] Launchpad bug 1722426 in unattended-upgrades (Ubuntu) " Please merge unattended-upgrades 0.98 (main) from Debian unstable (main) Edit" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1722426 [10:29] doko, gir-to-d needs remove on ppc64el, because... ldc doesn't really work there at all [10:29] it can't compile an hello world main [10:29] and sambamba I don't really care, leaf new package, it can go demoted to proposed and fixed in debain [10:29] debian === didrocks1 is now known as didrocks [10:38] doko: wtf, docker.io i need to upload that anyway [10:39] doko: no idea what that gopherjs thing is about but 1.7 is gone in unstable i think so... [10:39] oh no maybe it isn't gone in unstable, it should be though [10:44] mwhudson: no still there, and has a RC issue. lazy maintainers ;p [10:44] rbalint, . [10:45] doko: RoM is the best kind of RC bug fix [10:46] although apparently the bug is fixed but not closed? [12:41] doko: :-/ [12:42] doko: at least it's no worse. [12:55] seb128: Kicked off. [13:02] wgrant, thanks === didrocks1 is now known as didrocks [13:28] doko: AIUI pcre3 is fundamentally broken wrt. assumptions and compiler optimisation. Given the other fix, I wonder if bumping back to -O1 would work around the s390x segfault? Else it might need a deep dive to find a specific optimization that might be causing the problem. [13:29] doko: I have limited time to work on this I'm afraid. I was just driving by and saw a contributed patch that looked plausible. === mnepton is now known as mneptok [17:56] rbasak: I wanted to check in about Certbot SRU packages again [17:57] would you have time to hop on a call sometime in the next week or two to figure out a plan for the rest of the work we have to do? [17:58] I think we need to make python-letsencrypt (and maybe python-letsencrypt-apache) packages and perhaps debug the letsencrypt build failures if you haven't already [18:52] kees, infinity, stgraber, slangasek: TB meeting in 10 [19:01] bmw: thank you for pinging. Yes, we should chat. Sorry, I've been travelling for various reasons. Catching up on certbot has been on my list but I've mostly been firefighting since I've been back :-/ [19:02] no worries [19:02] I'll send around a Doodle or something to find out when everyone is available [19:04] Sure. Thank you for sorting this. Sorry it hasn't landed yet. So many twists and turns :-/ [19:04] I think/hope we're getting close! [20:39] tjaalton: I'll try to get the kbl firmware tested this afternoon or tomorrow. Xenial has a newer kernel now, so 4.4 *shouldn't* be a blocker there anymore. (Need testing to know for sure) [20:40] dmj_s76: ah, good [21:39] bdmurray, hey. so we have uploaded cloud-init to zesty and xenial. [21:39] i'd like to request you to review that and make sure that it is what you were expecting [21:39] i realize your SRU day is thursday, so we understand if it needs to wait until then [21:41] the sru bug is bug 1721847 [21:41] bug 1721847 in cloud-init (Ubuntu Zesty) "sru cloud-init 2017-10-06 (17.1-18-gd4f70470-0ubuntu1)" [Medium,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1721847 [22:03] smoser: I'll see if I can get to it early but I need to wrap something else up for the release.
