Maciej_Hello09:37
Maciej_I have a problem with my monitor resollution. I tried looking around the Ubuntu forums but the commands posted around doesn't work. Would someone hear me out?09:38
Maciej_Since there's no response I'll describe it. If anyone can help please contact me :) Since like a month ago my screen resolution changed itself to default 1024x768 and I can't change it with the display settings. I tried making new mode with command line but it doesn't work. My monitors native resolution is 1280x960.09:41
Maciej_Thanks in advance ^^09:41
hateballMaciej_: does xrandr list 1280x960 as available?09:41
Maciej_No09:41
hateballMaciej_: 16.04 or 17.10 ?09:42
hateballI mean it sounds like a kernel/mesa problem to me if it just changed by itself09:42
Maciej_16.04 the latest release09:43
hateballSo if you're on 16.04 you could try the latest !hwe if you havent09:43
Maciej_I've upgraded it recently but it changed nothing09:43
hateball!hwe09:43
ubottuThe Ubuntu LTS enablement stacks provide newer kernel and X support for existing LTS releases, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack09:43
hateballI have to go to lunch now so will be back in a while... in case you dont get anyone else to help09:44
Maciej_Sure, thanks :)09:44
