I can see a splash screen in sddm or lightdm, gdm3 just seems to freeze the interface, but I can't seem to get to the desktop. Not a lot of wayland packages seemed to be added during the upgrade. | Gnudnik0 | I stripped off gdm, though I've left the wayland for the time being, tjaalton, but the system is still really weird even with lightdm and gdm and I don't seem to be able to startx. I'm trying the latest mainline kernel and I removed amd64-microcode on the theory that it is closed source and maybe buggy and AMD may make decent hardware, but have never been famed for their software. Oh, also, when I finally got to plasma pulseaudio was showing as a dummy output. | 05:54 |
