[09:41] anyone fimiliared with pulseaudio and pavucontrol here ??? [15:25] Hey guys... [15:25] I got a problem regarding file visibility [15:26] I had 2 Partitions on my HDD the first one was about 200GB and the second one about 700GB [15:26] When I installed Xubuntu (coming from arch) I deleted the 700GB partition and rezised the 200GB to 900GB. [15:27] I use this partition as my home partition [15:27] Now Xubuntu created a whole new home directory with its folders (e.g. Downloads, movies, music...) [15:29] I cannot acces the files anymore... but the space is still allocated. so I hope that the files are not lost and just not displayed [15:29] Displaying hidden files and listing files with "ls" via terminal do not list them either [15:30] so how may I acces those files now? I cannot mount the partition into another directory because "home is busy" [15:31] Okay long story short... I'm an idiot.... [15:32] I thought my home directy is /home, but I forgot it is /home/user/... the files are located in /home/.... sorry for bothering you [16:58] hey everyone, n00b here. I installed wine and I'm able to run my windows applications just fine in Xubuntu, but I'm wondering if there's a way to make the Thunar file manager display the EXE's custom application icon rather than a generic exe icon [17:10] ChEeZeBaLL: It would seem you could just install 'gnome-exe-thumbnailer' and it should work. [17:13] hhmmm.. it seems to already be installed [17:14] I customized my system icons with an icons theme; i wonder if that's interfering.. [17:15] although a search with the google machine shows a few other people having problems with gnome-exe-thumbnailer and thundar [17:15] *thunar [17:37] hah there's a youtube video about windows exe icons not showing in thunar; their solution is to install nautilus -_- [17:40] the gnome-exe-thumbnailer github repo says that Tumbler needs to be installed for it to work with Thunar, which I also already have [17:40] sooo.. kinda looks like their Thunar integration is broken [19:50] help [19:51] mks81, just ask the question... [19:53] Thunderbird open too long pdf attaches (7-20 seconds). 16.04 okular [19:53] evince same effect [19:55] Thunderbird above 45
