[14:50] <BluesKaj> akik, on kubuntu there were no virtual desktops avaialble , no widgets like quicklaunch for example ...running a nvidia gpu so i was using the default nouveau driver which actually works quite well  otherwise.

[14:52] <akik> do you mean that the virtual desktop widget just doesn't work?
