dokomapreri: was the opencv sync from eperimental intend?  I added a transition tracker for now09:26
* rbasak has always pronounced tsimonq2 as "tee-ess-eye-monk-two" and only just realised that it actually has "simon" embedded in it.09:30

jamespagemitya57: I need to sync with coreycb - pkg-openstack in debian has had a flush or work to get debian up to the pike release; we've been doing our own thing for 12 months now so merging/syncing needs some careful management again...09:56
acheronukrbasak: I can't help do the same when I read it, and have known that is wrong for well over a year!09:58

tsimonq2rbasak: It's my initials with "Simon" extended. I rarely tell people my full name because everyone calls me Simon ;)11:47
coreycbmitya57: jamespage: i can work on bumping python-os-api-ref and python-pbr to new versions. the new versions use sphinx >= 1.6.212:18
jamespagecoreycb: I merged pbr already - not looked at os-api-ref yet12:24
jamespagepls feel free12:24
coreycbjamespage: ok will do and thanks12:26
andreassil2100: hi, good afternoon12:39
andreassil2100: could you please reply to my comment https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-advantage-tools/+bug/1719671/comments/45 ?12:39

jbichadoko: you mythtv upload results in "libcdio        support will not be included in MythMusic" so that's a regression from what was in Ubuntu14:40
jbichait might be worth checking the other libcdio rdepends to make sure they still end up depending on libcdio libraries14:41
smoseris there a fine manual that ii'm supposed to read for14:44
infinityjbicha: Bah.  That's bound to be mythtv-specific.  Lemme look.14:44
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1728616 in apt (Ubuntu) "using 'devel' in sources.list causes apt-get update to fail" [Undecided,New]14:44
infinitysmoser: Yeah, don't use devel in sources.list.14:44
smoseri'm guessing this is known to some extent. i can't be the only one that is using devel14:44
infinityWe should delete all references to it and call it a pointless and failed experiment, IMO. :P14:45
smoserinfinity: thats fine with me.14:46
smoseryou're welcome to comment in that bug.14:46
infinityBut it's been known not to work for a long time.14:46
smoseri'm not sure how we got across the transition to artful14:46
smoseron this system.14:46
infinitysmoser: I imagine something like "apt-get -o Acquire::AllowDowngradeToInsecureRepositories update" once would get you past the hump.14:49
infinitysmoser: But also, meh.14:49
infinityErr, Acquire::AllowDowngradeToInsecureRepositories=true14:50
smoserinfinity: but mostly i agree, if its going to not really work, then shoudl proabbly remove any doc of it.14:50
sil2100smoser: hey!16:15
sil2100smoser: I saw your comment on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/livecd-rootfs/+bug/1721279 - does the C locale sorting break any of your use-cases?16:15
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1721279 in livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Xenial) "Improve teardown_mountpoint to recursively find all submounts and unmount them" [Undecided,Fix committed]16:15
sil2100smoser: I was looking into releasing this to -updates, but I don't want to cause unwanted regressions16:15
mitya57coreycb, jamespage: thanks!16:33
jamespagemitya57: np16:37
smosersil2100: i dont have any thing related to that.16:39
smoserand i suspect the fix worked to do what they needed. I think we can consider my comment an improvement that should be done, but I dont expect that their changes tehre woudl regress anything.16:40
sil2100smoser: ok, thanks!16:44

naccdoko: not quite sure what to make of the pacemaker ftbfs (LP: #1712441). It's known in Debian too and apparently due to libqb changes in binutils? There's a few upstream changes mentioned in the RH bug (linked from the Debian one), but not sure if any of those actually help this case.21:12

naccdoko: oh nm, debian pacemaker fixed this by dropping the symbols (they just didn't close the bug in the upload): https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/debian-ha/pacemaker.git/commit/?h=debian/1.1.18_rc3-1&id=6a773b679a441155d8556506d70c9173776fdcf821:15
