When I attempt this in Kubuntu I just get the right click context dialog menu. Does anyone know how to fix this? [01:10] Never mind, was a (STUPID) vmware fusion setting === mkv is now known as m4v [01:46] Hi everyone [01:46] new here. I can't seem to get openconnect to work in KDE [01:46] I created the profile, but when I click on connect... nothing happens [02:21] hi, I was wondering if someone could help me (description to follow, typing it up now :p) [02:23] I run kubuntu 16.04 on a laptop with bluetooth. I've used my phones in the past to tether over bluetooth. Now all these phones appear in the list of available wifi's when you click on the systray icon. Which means I can't see any of the actually available wifi's without scrolling down. I have deleted the bluetooth connections from the connection editor but they reappear after reboot. How do I get them to disappear forever [02:25] Also, more generally.. how can I permanently delete a bluetooth device === zztopless is now known as zz-afk === luiz is now known as LuizChakal [04:02] PLEASE suggest a good email client [04:03] Well it depends on what you consider "good", KDE likes kmail but I use alpine. [04:09] <-- thunderbird [04:09] (or webmail at work, bleh) [04:09] kmail's a bit quirky but worth trying, i like it [04:09] i mainly use thunderbird because it's cross-platform [04:09] thanks [07:04] Good morning === himcesjf_ is now known as himcesjf [09:57] Howdy folks [10:04] Hi [13:22] back...I just killed my internet and had to reboot [13:22] so got authentication, then internet just died on me [13:23] 3/4 of my screen is white and rest gray. [13:35] or sudo lshw -C video [13:35] R13ose: `sudo lspci -k|grep -A 2 VGA` [13:36] To make it better you do `sudo lspci -k|grep -A 2 -e VGA -e 3D` [13:37] Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09) [13:37] With the i915 driver? [13:37] should be [13:38] Hence the question ๐Ÿ˜‰ if it is disabled we have the culprit. [13:39] Yes with i915 [13:39] Ok, good. Did you add any kernel parameters? [13:40] lordievader: I don't think I did but how do I check? [14:06] R13ose: `grep i915 /var/log/syslog` for example. [14:07] lordievader: nothing [14:08] Hmm, then search through `/var/log/X.org.0` for any errors or warnings. [14:26] !pastebinit [14:26] pastebinit is the command-line equivalent of !pastebin - Command output, or other text can be redirected to pastebinit, which then reports an URL containing the output - To use pastebinit, install the ยซ pastebinit ยป package from a package manager - Simple usage: command | pastebinit [14:27] Yes but it is saying command not found. [14:28] It is not installed by default. `sudo apt install pastebinit`. [14:29] I have that installed. I mean the sudo /var/log/Xorg.0.log [14:30] Maybe because that's not something that would achieve anything [14:31] What should the command be?
