I need ta ask a few questions. [13:00] Olanzapin: Just ask the real question(s) [13:06] ahh but they are irellevant in main chat. I use gamesevermanagers script to setup csgo server. Everything is working well no errors. When i start the server i automaticly shutdown the server silently. [13:07] googled on same problem but did not find a solution [13:07] Olanzapin: For something like this I would probably try asking in #gamingonlinux or #steamlug since those channels are for gamers [13:08] More likely to have someone with the same setup I guess [13:08] Olanzapin: state the version of ubuntu and where the package came from === andreas is now known as ahasenack [13:20] ok thx [13:26] ubuntu 16.04 and http://www.gamservermanagers.com [13:27] gameservermanagers.com [13:42] Olanzapin: so the software isn't from the official repos ? [13:42] Olanzapin: the best advice would be to verify the logs of what's happening, then work with the people who support that software to debug it [17:52] installed virtualbox on ubuntu by using apt-get install virtualbox [17:52] How to install VBoxWebSrv? [17:55] rharper: smoser: isthere a tool on ubuntu to create a .ova from a qemu disk image? I mean it looks not too hard by hand (convert to .vmdk, write a .ovf and .mf, and tar it up), but a tool woudl be sweet. [18:30] hallyn: not that I know of [18:30] note you dont specifically have to have file format of vmdk [18:31] to be "ovf". [18:31] but to use it in vmware, you probably do ;) [18:31] i think that virtualbox can export a ovf [18:35] but other htan that i dont know of any tools. [18:36] hallyn: https://askubuntu.com/questions/588426/how-to-export-and-import-virtualbox-vm-images [18:50] smoser: yeah, virtualbox isn't out of the question but I don't want gui and hate the vbox commandline :) [18:53] Ok thanks - just wanted to make sure there wasn't an obvious existing tool i should be using [18:59] hallyn: well, yes. the command line does suck. [18:59] but basically you're just creating a vmdk and substituting text. [18:59] you're actually uinsg vmware ? [19:05] I'm not :) [19:05] Well, in some palces I am, through vsphere... but i want to do this on any linux system, hence want to use qemu-img adn tar as far as possible [19:31] coreycb: thanks for sorting out the backport of sphinx - what was the issue/ [19:31] ? [19:32] jamespage: hey np. the imagemagick package needs to be installed on xenial to get alternatives for /usr/bin/ commands configured. [19:33] I thought it might be something like that [20:02] === JanC is now known as Guest24940 === JanC_ is now known as JanC [20:21] I'm running a postfix server, and recently I've started getting "User unknown in virtual alias table" errors with emails sent to my adress. Is there any way to resolve this? [20:23] Oh.. [20:23] Turns out that unsetting my "myorigin" fixed it somehow === mundus2018 is now known as mundus
