[09:20] If one wants to rebuild the live cd for their own specific use cases, what is the recommended workflow? I've been using the Live CD Customization guide (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization), but I was hoping there would be an easier way of just booting into the live environment, customizing the GUI, then saving it to an installable ISO. I'm curious to know how the Lubuntu dev team is [09:20] doing this. [11:18] (Photo, 1280x770) https://i.imgur.com/fsZTm4U.jpg [11:18] Good boi! [11:18] ^^ [11:23] maybe i have to change the logo sticker when the new lts arrives? [11:35] (Document) http://vps.tsimonq2.net:9090//file_2266.mp4 [11:38] Exclussive! New logo revealed! [11:38] (Photo, 358x357) https://i.imgur.com/SV3B3pL.jpg [11:38] .____. [11:39] Errrrmm.... how to say... [11:39] 😂 yes? [11:40] (Sticker, 512x512) http://vps.tsimonq2.net:9090//file_2273 [11:42] 😁 [11:47] thank you, neighbour [11:49] well i just finished to install lubuntu on the laptop of an old friend [11:49] another one [11:50] taking them to the dark side? mwahaha [11:51] yeah, of course! I convince a lot of people just showing how it works on my systems [11:51] I do the same. They are like "really?!" when I say they can just download apps from the Software Center, free of viruses, and free of charge. No more seeking for apps in the Internet. [11:52] we aer used to it, but they are kinda shocked. not so much since they saw Android's behaviour [11:52] the only people i can't convince, are the "hard gamers" [11:53] I have a "hard gamer" friend now in love with Steam ^^ [11:54] yep, but sometimes when they see they need win to play Call Of Duty or similar... bad thing [11:54] yes [11:54] but I see it's changing now [11:55] there is a lot of good games for linux systems right now [11:56] indeed [11:56] but the most important thing, there's a lot of software, perfect replacements to ANY windows or mac app [11:56] that's for sure! [11:56] except for some specific industry ones [11:56] and that's changing too [11:57] today, the "normal" user, can use any of the gnu/linux outside for his computer without missing anything [11:57] @tsimonq2 SiMÓN!! check if you see the Countdown menu in Phab [11:58] @Wolfenprey, I made an experiment with a guy who doesn't know how to use a computer, and he's happy now with Ubuntu [11:58] of course he calls me like panicking every 3 days, but I expecte that even with Windows :$ [11:59] yep i made the same sometimes, like "try it", "call me if you have trouble" [11:59] 😁 [11:59] "are you sure i dont need an antivirus" yesss, "ARE YOU SURE" [11:59] XD [12:00] and "why are these apps there to take? for free?!" [12:00] hahaa [12:00] and I answer "because people like ME put them there to take for free" [12:00] where s the trick?? [12:00] "because we want" [12:01] normally, after the first days and the learning curve, people seems happy [12:01] anyway, proprieatary software is doomed. you can't develop an app woth 400 workers and compete with another app with millions behind it [12:02] that's why "unix" grew up so fast the last years [12:02] sorry, "desktop unix" [12:02] yep, it's growing fast [12:03] (Document) http://vps.tsimonq2.net:9090//file_2274.mp4 [12:03] XD [15:01] ichigeki54 was added by: ichigeki54 [15:03] @ichigeki54, Wellcome! @ichigeki54 [15:35] Where is lubot relaying messages from? [15:37] Telegram [16:27] and Matrix [16:42] Lubot only relays from Telegram [17:05] oh, and who brings messages from Matrix? [17:15] Individual users via a bridge Matrix has installed on Freenode [17:17] mhm [18:02] Czlek was added by: Czlek [18:06] @Czlek, o/ [18:08] Sup dudes [21:11] s/dudes/people/ [21:12] tsimonq2: how do we make all of phab public? [21:13] @wxl, Good question. Let me ask Ikey how he did it. [21:13] thx
