[04:52] Can I see recent bookmarks of 50? [04:52] Now I have to painstakingly go through my bookmarks one by one. [04:52] That has to be a better way. [04:53] KanePR: Please stop cross-posting this. [04:58] I installed Sort Bookmarks and now I found what I wanted. I have a problem with akonadi_control: immediatly after I do the login appears a windows saying that the app crashed http://paste.ubuntu.com/26049644/ === sithlord48 is now known as rizzitello [17:27] ksplashqml[3464]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp bf850c0c error 4 in ksplashqml[41d000+9000] <- anything I can do about this? One thing: before I switched back to lightdm, sddm-greeter segfaulted in a similar way. Now it does manage to get into lightdm, but trying to load KDE causes this. [17:28] This is an old 32bit P4 too, maybe some instructions got dropped or something? [17:28] "Your PC is too old to run KDE" is an acceptable answer, just want to make sure :P [17:29] Oh and.. I'm currently looking at a black screen, mouse pointer works and I just got some notification window about package updates that managed to get through, but I can't do anything else. [17:31] EuroTrash, yes, but 32 bit is fine, perahaps your Ram and cpu are bit underspec [17:32] 1.5GB RAM, Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz Notrhwood [17:32] Northwood, gah [17:40] holy crap that's a 15 year old processor o_O [17:42] 1.5 Ram is bit low as well [18:38] I know it's a stretch, but wanted to try it anyway. It's running Lubuntu, which is quite zippy but yeah, not the best desktop environment. [18:40] Lots of people always complaining about KDE being slow and bloated (which it isn't really, IMO), wanted to prove otherwise :P [18:42] And a segfault isn't what I'd expect if the system were too slow, I'd suspect some compiler optimization or modern extension/instruction that the CPU can't handle to cause something like that. [18:44] Or perhaps the time period-matching graphics card :o [18:44] This box has onboard Intel graphics as well, let me try that. === kubuntu is now known as Guest64030 === Guest64030 is now known as kubuntu__ === tom is now known as Guest6980 [21:04] Olá
