slangasektsimonq2, valorie, wxl (et al): 17.10.1 out06:12
valorieweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!06:12
valoriethank you so much, slangasek06:12
tsimonq2slangasek: \o/06:12
valorieI owe you at least a pitcher06:12
slangasekI'll send email to ubuntu-release about it tomorrow; I'm not otherwise planning any announcements06:12
tsimonq2Ok06:13
valorieI can start torrenting again!06:13
flocculantslangasek: thanks :)06:13
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New binary: gromacs [amd64] (bionic-proposed/universe) [2018-1] (no packageset)06:25
ginggsslangasek: thanks! someone needs to update https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop to remove the warning06:37
slangasekginggs: yes, I will notify the web team of this06:57
valorietime to start zsyncing and seeding all the torrents!06:58
valoriethanks to tsimonq2 for making that simpler06:59
tsimonq2np :)06:59
wxlthanks for all the hard work slangasek !07:13
wxlslangasek: re: said pitcher, i'd pitch in for one at lfnw :)07:14
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New binary: gromacs [i386] (bionic-proposed/universe) [2018-1] (no packageset)07:18
valoriequestion to the release team or whoever knows - iterating through cdimage and zsyncing all the 17.10.1 isos I see http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/17.10.1/release/ where all those server images are 17.1008:32
valorieis that right, that they were not respun?08:33
daxit affected x86 systems only, which excludes almost all of those files. i have no idea what ubuntu-17.10-live-server-*.iso are so can't comment on those08:33
valorieyeah I've not seen them before, and they aren't on torrent.ubuntu.com08:35
valoriebut there are torrent files08:35
valorieso I would seed 'em08:35
valoriebut that will have to wait until tomorrow08:35

Laneycan someone run 'queue -Q new -s xenial-proposed -m "use a proper version number" reject py-macaroon-bakery' please?11:59
* Laney numpty11:59
* apw looks12:02
chrisccoulsonHi, I need someone to approve the adobe-flashplugin partner uploads for trusty -> artful that have been sat there for a few days now12:03
apwLaney, I assume you mean Unapproved12:03
Laneynein, it is new12:03
apwLaney, oh there it is, seems there is also some macaroon stuff in Unapproved, confirmation-bias in operation12:05
apwLaney, and gone12:05
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New: rejected py-macaroon-bakery [source] (xenial-proposed) [0.0.6-1ubuntu1]12:05
Laneyya I was checking I didn't numptify those too12:06
Laneynothing is beyond my abilities12:06
Laneythanks ?12:06
sil2100Laney: hey! Since request.cgi is still down, is there some other way to re-run failed tests?12:07
sil2100chrisccoulson: hey! Let me take a look at those and see if I have the power (since they're in partner)12:08
Laneysil2100: log on to snakefruit and use run-autopkgtest12:08
LaneyMaybe we could enable that again though, if x86 is generally trustable now12:10
Laneythe other arches are disabled at a much lower level12:10
chrisccoulsonsil2100, thanks. You should have the power to do it12:14
chrisccoulsonThere's a section on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArchiveAdministration specifically for partner updates12:14

-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New source: py-macaroon-bakery (xenial-proposed/primary) [0.0.6-1~ubuntu16.04.1]12:18
sil2100hm, no tools for doing the review12:18
sil2100Will have to do it manually12:18
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: accepted adobe-flashplugin [source] (artful-proposed) [1:20180109.1-0ubuntu0.17.10.1]12:22

sil2100hmmm, I should have just rejected the zesty one since zesty EOLs tomorrow12:32
sil2100Oh well12:33
apwsil2100, it will get deleted from -proposed then anyhow, so i don't think any harm done12:57

-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: designate-dashboard (artful-proposed/universe) [5.0.0-0ubuntu1 => 5.0.1-0ubuntu1] (no packageset)15:22
slangasekvalorie: server-live is the serve image using the new subiquity installer.  It didn't get tested by yesterday, so it didn't get an update released with the others.  Since the bug is only known to affect laptop-class (x86) hardware, that's comparatively low-risk; we didn't pull server off the website at any point16:44

=== Beret- is now known as Beret
mdeslaurhow to I get openssl promoted out of bionic-proposed? the failing test is for an old version of ruby2.3, there's a newer one, but the retry buttons don't work19:15
infinitymdeslaur: Retrying.19:43
mdeslaurinfinity: is there a script for that, something I could have done myself?19:44
naccinfinity: using AA tools, or other permissions?19:44
infinitymdeslaur: Nope.19:45
infinitynacc: Using AA violence, yes.19:45
mdeslaurinfinity: ok, thanks!19:45
naccinfinity: :)19:45
infinityThe CGI being broken was probably intentional Specdown mitigation, but I'm not sure.  Will look into that when the dust settles.19:45
naccinfinity: yeah, i believe it was done at the same time, per /topic and some IRC chatter at the time19:47
infinityHrm, if you combine those the other way, Meltre sound like some sort of social app for steel workers.19:48
* nacc quotes the Simpsons: "Hot stuff coming through"19:49
valoriethanks slangasek20:25
