There have been a couple of times where I accidentally struck my computer while it was running, causing the hard drive to miswrite, and resulting in an unbootable system. The two times this happened, I ran xfs_repair, and it automatically fixed the issue. I'm trying to decide whether to use xfs again, or to switch to ext4 for my next install.
