[20:00] Just out of curiosity since thats not something I've ever heard of. I'm reimaging [20:00] if you are installing everything on the USB stick - the USB stick needs to have grub. [20:01] I'm installing to pc from Ian [20:01] Usb* [20:02] k - write your usb flash drive from the ISO using something like etcher. It will correctly install everything to enable you to boot from USB to install onto a PC [20:07] I actually used either [20:07] Etcher* [20:26] That's what's weird the setting up the iso on usb was successful but when installing it throws an error trying to install the bootloader [20:28] have you got four primary partitions on the hard-drive? [20:29] It's not in front of me so not sure. [20:29] maybe that's the issue - you can't have more than four primary partitions [20:32] Thanks. Hadn't thought of that weird that I wouldn't. I will check this when I get home. I was going to bring it to work to work on but I forgot it. [20:33] I was hoping it would be a relatively simple fix
