[20:00] <mparillo> 257 Updates, and I did not crash Discover (which seems a lot more stable than the one with 16.04.3). I was able to re-boot my VM using the kicker > leave > reboot (sometimes for big plasma upgrades, I need to systemctl reboot).
[20:04] <mparillo> After a re-boot, krunner launched kinfocenter (Plasma 5.12 , FW 5.42, and Qt 5.9.1). The kicker application launcher launched Discover, Dolphin, Kate, Konsole, System Monitor, and System Settings, and all appears normal at first glance.
