Does anyone know if xubuntu currently supports this processor (Acer c-201)? [10:42] Arronicus: https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/wiki/Asus-C201 might help you [10:46] Flocculant thanks, trying to find the most light-weight option I can, that has a desktop enviro, and is fairly new-user friendly. [10:46] yup [10:46] good luck with it :) [10:49] Thank you. A little confusing for me trying to figure out which distros will work on this, as I don't really know if I need a seperate version from what I would install on my PC. [10:52] Arronicus: not something I've had much to do with tbh [10:53] Yea, fair enough. Doesn't seem to be a common issue. Would be a lot simpler if my book had an intel based processor, but $$. Not really a necessity either way, but would be nice if I could do some of my scripting on here. [10:55] Anyhow, thanks again. I'm on a trip for a few days and should wait till I have access to my desktop again for troubleshooting. Will just do a lot of reading for now. [10:58] Arronicus: yup - you might be better asking in #ubuntu to get more generic information [11:01] oh, thanks, I'll add that to my channel list [14:06] Will Xubuntu also start collecting data? http://www.linux-magazine.com/Online/News/Ubuntu-to-Start-Collecting-Some-Data-with-Ubuntu-18.04 [14:36] hi, everyone. Is it known issue, after upgrading xubuntu, xfce4-terminal ctrl-shfit-T does not work. I mean, does not open a new tab. ctrl-shift was defined for keyboard layout switching. When you do ctrl-shift-T in terminal, there is just layout switching. [17:21] anyone can help me [17:34] ruzfi: who knows - we don't know what you want yet ... [17:34] !ask [17:34] Please don't ask to ask a question, simply ask the question (all on ONE line and in the channel, so that others can read and follow it easily). If anyone knows the answer they will most likely reply. :-) See also !patience [17:40] so no [17:44] :-( [17:45] !patience [17:45] Don't feel ignored and repeat your question quickly; if nobody knows your answer, nobody will answer you. While you wait, try searching https://help.ubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org or https://askubuntu.com/ [17:45] Rayne: too late - gone [17:45] I know but I wanted to see what !patience returns [17:45] :) [17:46] See you later! [18:24] hello guys [18:24] can u tell me how i setup system wide proxy settings?
