[03:01] any around? === kubuntu is now known as Guest79919 [06:02] Good morning [06:56] Is someone here in the forum who knows some technical details about the panel? Are all plasmoids in the panel running in the same thread? === westerwelle is now known as westerwelle_ === westerwelle_ is now known as westerwelle__ === westerwelle__ is now known as westerwelle === thinker_ is now known as thinker === thinker is now known as thinke === thinke is now known as thinker === thiago is now known as Guest1188 [11:58] Hiyas all [12:31] This IRC<->Telegram integration works quite well. I'd love to use it in another Open Source Community. Where can I find more information about it? [13:14] @bauchhaus, In Cinnamon the window border decoration is only one pixel, but the grab area to resize it is about 7 pixels wide. Makes it look good and at the same time usable. Can't believe this isn't possible in KDE.. [13:20] bauchhaus, for Ubuntu support join #ubuntu chat [13:26] bauchhaus, you can set a modifier key for which you can do + anywhere in the window to resize it. === oleg is now known as Guest25017 [15:45] BluesKaj: why do you suggest #ubuntu for a Kubuntu/KDE Question? [15:48] you mentioned Cinnamon so assumed that's what DE you're using. [15:48] bauchhaus ^ [15:54] I suggest to read complete sentences before jumping into conclusions. [16:06] @bauchhaus, Think KDE uses this? https://github.com/FruitieX/teleirc [16:32] is there a way i can get ubuntu theme for kubuntu [16:32] the gnome like look [16:41] Asiff, look in system settings>Desktop Theme>Get new Themes >type gnome in the search and you'll see Gotham [16:42] oh gotham.. leme see [16:43] look at details [16:43] but its just the desktop theme right.. isnt there a workspace theme [16:44] like the ambiance window decorator, adwaita cursor etc [16:44] workspace theme is desktop theme [16:45] oh wait.. found something.. named united [16:45] thanks anyway [19:28] hf [19:28] hi [19:29] helo [19:29] abd alrhman [19:47] I just installed kubuntu 18.04 [19:48] my only issue was bcmwl-kernel-source [19:50] needs : libdpkg-perl_1.19.0.5ubuntu2_all.deb & libfile-fcntllock-perl_0.22-3build2_amd64.deb [19:52] please add those 2 packages to the next version of the ISO. I had to download and install via dpkg [19:53] otherwise, it's perfect [19:54] keep up the good work. [20:03] What was someone smoking when they made the decision to make Cantata the default player? I love Cantata, but mpd is not something that is at all easy for beginners. You ***have*** to configure it manually to do a lot of things with it. [20:03] audacious-qt would have been a ***much*** more sane choice [20:10] Gotta love when someone is trying to setup mpd to work with Cantata and they get to a point where no sound is working *other than mpd*... pretty terrible choice here. [20:11] It's decisions like these that will always make me recommend KDE neon over Kubuntu. I'd like to think one day the offical Ubuntu KDE flavor would be able to produce a nice feeling flavor, but it... just doesn't happen... [20:35] @acheronuk, Ah cool. Thanks @acheronuk [20:49] i just installed mpd and cantata worked [20:49] no extra configuration or setting up [20:50] then again, i'm not some super dooper advanced mpd user === dac is now known as Guest41259 === Guest41259 is now known as sb_dan === Arthur_D is now known as Arthur_MD
