[14:53] <jhg_> I moved /boot (ext2) to / (ext4) in order to do kernel development on Ubuntu 16.04 kernel 4.4. I built/installed 4.18.0-rc1+ from source. The boot drops out to an (initramfs) shell because it cannot find the root lvm partition. /dev/mapper and /dev/disk/id are empty.
