[00:07] Hi. I'm using Ubuntu MATE. In the top right corner at the left of my left-most icon on the panel I have a little green | just like that [00:07] (This is #kubuntu.) [00:07] just a line like that that is green that doesn't seem to be for anything. [00:07] It's there sometimes, not always. [00:07] Is this some kind of spyware? [00:08] Doesn't seem legitimate to me. All my other icons are white. [00:08] This vertical line is green. [01:07] I doubt it is spyware, but you can always back up your user data, and overwrite your install with Kubuntu. Nuke it from Orbit: It is the only way to be sure. [01:12] Then you restore your user data to a clean fresh Kubuntu install. === mkv is now known as m4v === AdamDayXX is now known as AdamDay87 [04:01] Cze Kodziołki i (amig) Ofce!!! [04:02] OMG!!! [08:38] Or a list of channels that it should autojoin. [08:39] lordievader: there is no such list in quassel, it tries to rejoin whatever you were connected to at shutdown [08:39] Unit193: nope! [08:40] And I dont wish to remove the channels fully, because that erases history, and I might want to rejoin at a later point [08:40] I'd check the config file "manually". >_> [08:40] However, it's been a long time since I've used quassel, and at the time was only playing with it in core mode. [08:41] all its settings are in a sqlite db which makes it a pain [08:42] Perhaps it is time for a goodbye [08:44] yeah, not even if I gently disconnect freenode before killing quassel [08:44] * hateball screams [08:45] Ah, so you're not using postgresql. sqlitebrowser! ;) [08:45] I'll leave you in the more capable hands of lordievader. [09:31] and why you hate a ball? === alexrenner is now known as sarahrenner [09:38] SLegron: Kubuntu is Ubuntu based, but uses KDE Plasma instead of GNOME [09:39] So,now i use kubuntu?Because installed KDE [09:39] or i don't understand [09:48] SLegron: It's mostly about what is installed default. You can choose to use GNOME even after you install Kubuntu as well [09:51] just,my PC need new OS [09:52] linux was crash [09:54] Thank for help! [16:23] lemme check versions [16:34] this is the versions matrix for kde stuff: http://pastebin.centos.org/878121/ === kallesbar_ is now known as kallesbar [17:23] So, weird issue [17:23] I have 3 monitors [17:24] One is DPI output from my gfx card to HDMI on the monitor, one is DVI -> DVI, the third is HDMI to DVI. This works with no issues on windows [17:24] as soon as I boot linux, the HDMI -> DVI monitor doesn't work [17:24] I've tried other cables, and other ports [17:24] nothing works [17:25] the display menu knows the monitor is there and that it exists [17:26] and it worked when I first installed kubuntu [17:26] I just rebooted one day and it died [17:53] thats a bummer [17:54] i haven't had any issue with linux and multiple monitors [17:54] hear about it all the time though [17:55] can you drag a window over to that screen over top of the black? [18:08] airking i have the same hdmi>dvi and it died too. [18:09] And then started working again with no reason. [19:16] I'm looking to set-up the meta key as alt+f1/to start the launcher, but I can't get it to work. I used to work before I used latte-dock but now after removing latte-dock it doesn't.
