bluesabreflocculant: I know nothing about that bug00:09
ochosibluesabre: you mean to xfce git? i can try to start that tonight06:01
Spasshi, did recent updates in 18.04 changed something with a default NumLock behavior? now NL is auto-enabled on my login screen and my laptop keyboard doesn't like it (numpad on letter keys) so I always need to disable it, or maybe I accidentally changed something in my settings?11:36
SpassI remember reading some advice here (or on #x) about changing something in a config file, but I can't find it now :/11:38
Spassok, I think I found it, /etc/default/numlockx is probably what I want11:42
Spassweird, it's on "auto" so "turns numlock on unless ran on laptop"11:43
Spassit looks like after some recent update(s) it doesn't recognize that I'm on a laptop11:43
Spasssorry guys, I shouldn't spam that here on devel...11:44
Unit193Spass: Yes, numlockx is new.  Do you have laptop-detect?21:06
Spass1sec, I need to boot my laptop21:07
Spassyes, I have that package installed, but... this time NumLcok was disabled on boot, not sure why it works fine now, I remember i changed one settings in the xfce4-keyboard-settings21:13
Spasssp maybe that was it, not sure how it is in English, but something like "Restore numpad state after start"21:13
Unit193Just to make sure, can you run: laptop-detect ;echo $?21:14
Spassit returns "$" seems like I was to quick with that issue, it just seems that rebooting it couple times fixed it21:19
Spassso maybe it was "broken" just the first time after the update, and after reboot it detected my machine as laptop correctly again, don't really know21:20
Spassbut yeah... [solved]21:20
Spassok, rebooted my laptop couple times with NumLock on and off upon shutdown, can confirm 100%, this was a one time issue, sorry for the noise21:27
krytarikSpass: The question mark was supposed to be part of the command btw. :P21:30
Spassoh... :)21:30
Spasswell, that means I really need some sleep, g'night all21:32
Unit193Yes, thanks krytarik21:37
krytarikSure, and I still blame you on this. :P21:38
