[13:39] <externalreality> One slightly different topic, does anyone know why if I make a symbolic link from snap land to real world land then the snap refuses to run. Actually snaps that have nothing to do with the link I just made refuse to run too.

[13:43] <rick_h_> externalreality: right, you can try to see if you can install the snap with --classic to make it more open, or the dev mode flag as well I think
