t1mp_hello15:36
t1mp_question: are these docker images official and recommended to use? https://hub.docker.com/r/snapcore/snapcraft/15:37
t1mp_I want to build snap packages from Jenkins, and I am currently running my pipelines inside docker containers so that I don't have to install anything (besides docker) on the jenkins execution nodes.15:38
t1mp_so using snapcraft cleanbuild in a pipeline would fun a docker container, then start lxd inside that, and build the snap inside the lxd. That seems a bit overkill :) (I didn't test if it works), so if the docker image is official I'd rather just build it in there15:38
ograt1mp_, does that answer your question ? https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/snapcraft-docker-images-on-dockerhub/175915:50

t1mp_ogra: partially, I guess16:09
t1mp_it seems official, since sergiusens mentions there that he updated it16:10
t1mp_I still don't know if it is recommended. But it seems like the easiest solution for me right now, so I'll try it16:10
t1mp_it is a bit odd that on dockerhub I don't see that there is a link between snapcore and Canonical16:11

t1mp_where can I report bugs for https://github.com/snapcore/snapcraft ?19:07
t1mp_snapcraft does not seem to run for me inside the container because sudo is not installed? sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified19:08
t1mp_even though I'm root inside the docker container19:08
t1mp_hmm, sudo works in the container, but snapcraft not.19:11
t1mp_also, it works locally for me, but not on jenkins19:15
