=== doko_ is now known as doko [15:36] hello [15:37] question: are these docker images official and recommended to use? https://hub.docker.com/r/snapcore/snapcraft/ [15:38] I want to build snap packages from Jenkins, and I am currently running my pipelines inside docker containers so that I don't have to install anything (besides docker) on the jenkins execution nodes. [15:38] so using snapcraft cleanbuild in a pipeline would fun a docker container, then start lxd inside that, and build the snap inside the lxd. That seems a bit overkill :) (I didn't test if it works), so if the docker image is official I'd rather just build it in there [15:50] t1mp_, does that answer your question ? https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/snapcraft-docker-images-on-dockerhub/1759 === phoenix_firebrd is now known as phoenix_firebrd_ [16:09] ogra: partially, I guess [16:10] it seems official, since sergiusens mentions there that he updated it [16:10] I still don't know if it is recommended. But it seems like the easiest solution for me right now, so I'll try it [16:11] it is a bit odd that on dockerhub I don't see that there is a link between snapcore and Canonical === phoenix_firebrd_ is now known as phoenix_firebrd === phoenix_firebrd is now known as phoenix_firebrd_ === phoenix_firebrd_ is now known as phoenix_firebrd === phoenix_firebrd is now known as phoenix_firebrd_ === phoenix_firebrd_ is now known as phoenix_firebrd === phoenix_firebrd is now known as phoenix_firebrd_ === phoenix_firebrd_ is now known as phoenix_firebrd [19:07] where can I report bugs for https://github.com/snapcore/snapcraft ? [19:08] snapcraft does not seem to run for me inside the container because sudo is not installed? sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified [19:08] even though I'm root inside the docker container [19:11] hmm, sudo works in the container, but snapcraft not. [19:15] also, it works locally for me, but not on jenkins === Sir_Gallantmon is now known as Son_Goku [21:00] is it possible to have installed multiple versions of the same snap application? [21:01] I don't think so, but it is easy to switch between versions [21:17] t1mp_: i don't want t [21:17] *to lose settings
