bluesabreochosi: it seems like this bug is starting to appear again, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xubuntu-default-settings/+bug/143114910:04
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1431149 in xfce4-settings (Ubuntu) "XFCE 4.12 Black screen after wakeup from suspending by closing the laptop lid" [Undecided,Confirmed]10:04
bluesabreAlso, it might be time for us to work libinput in... annoying number of reports where folks have some gnome thing pulling it in and then it overrides -synaptics10:06
ochosibluesabre: hmm, i guess most of the time that black screen bug is a driver issue. alternatively we could check if logind defaults have changed (but i suppose not)10:07
bluesabreochosi: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xubuntu-artwork/+bug/178695910:07
ubottuLaunchpad bug 1786959 in xubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) "Adapt to new Evince icon name" [Undecided,New]10:07
bluesabreyeah, the bug is annoyingly persistent10:08
ochosibluesabre: i think settings already supports libinput (at least 4.13), maybe just a matter of including it and excluding synaptics10:08
ochosithe evince name i'll take care of10:08
ochosilatest after youve added the makefile ;)10:08
bluesabreochosi: it does... I've never actually tested it, it's a buildtime requirement10:08
ochosime neither10:09
ochosican take care of evince later today10:11
bluesabrecool10:12
ochosialso need to start a call for testing for the display profile feature sometime next week or so10:12
bluesabrewill aim to add the makefile to the theme tonight10:12
ochosicool, thanks10:12
ochosithen testing locally will also be easier10:13
ochosiand as i said, that libxfce4ui depend is totally useless10:13
ochosimaybe nick wanted to add a dialog or something to it10:13
ochosibluesabre: can you please update the elementary-xfce package? i have already pushed my changes upstream (will really be nice once we have that completely in sync again (incl. the svgtopng part)11:48
ochosibluesabre: with "my changes" i'm ofc referring to the evince patch11:48
bluesabreochosi, we can do a point release once I have the makefile in there, if that's cool with you11:49
bluesabreAnd then we can pkg up in deb,ubuntu11:50
ochosibluesabre: sounds good. should also get the upstream git tags and downstream package versions in sync (if they aren't already)14:47
ochosibluesabre: can also consider the folder color transition first14:47

brainwashnow this is a strange one: booting into the live session, but blueman-applet is not shown in the panel. restarting the panel does not reveal the bluetooth tray icon either. however, changing the icon theme via the settings manager does the trick.18:45
brainwashI assume that it is intended to be hidden if no bluetooth devices are detected, but not sure.18:48
ochosibrainwash: sounds more like a bug19:14
ochosican you click the hidden bluetooth tray icon?19:14
brainwashochosi: it's hidden as in not there at all19:25
brainwashno space is reserved for it19:26
brainwashbut changing the icon theme via the xfce settings manager does add the bluetooth tray icon to the panel19:27
brainwashone would assume that a panel restart would do the same, but it does not19:28
brainwashhttps://github.com/blueman-project/blueman/releases/tag/2.1.alpha219:30
brainwash>Implement a new standalone tray app19:30
brainwashI guess I will test that19:30
brainwash>blueman-adapters is now (Xfce-)pluggable19:31
brainwashohh wow19:31
Unit193ochosi: Yes, I'm exclusivly working off of git tags in Debian.19:35
ochosiUnit193: good good20:51
