alebHi, I see this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pitivi/+bug/1748787 "pitivi crashed with AttributeError in ..." but I don't see any C backtrace, only a Python traceback in the bug description. The traceback cannot cause a crash/segfault, so I'm wondering why the bug title says "crash", any clue?12:03
ubot5Ubuntu bug 1748787 in pitivi (Ubuntu) "pitivi crashed with AttributeError in _create_next_thumb(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'seek'" [Medium,New]12:03
JanCaleb: probably because it's just a Python-level "crash", and not a segfault?15:31
JanCthe bug reporting tools can catch & report those too15:32
alebI think the "crash" word is abused. Normally crash means something bad, when the application stops.15:49
JanCthe application didn't stop?16:16
JanCmaybe it uses subprocesses, and one of those crashed?16:16
JanCoh right, I see it in your bug now16:19
JanC(and maybe #ubuntu-devel has more people who can answer your question)16:20
alebThanks!16:46
