IhoujinHello. I am looking for a little assistance. I have a need to make a change to my lubuntu 16.04 armhf kernel, for raspberry pi 3. I'm not very experienced, but am on the right track. My one hangup is I can not locate the original config file my kernel was built with, and am not experienced enough to setup a new one from scratch. Are the lubuntu build source codes avaliable someplace?22:59
tsimonq2Ihoujin: Could you get me the output of uname -r?23:00
Ihoujinyes. one moment23:00
Ihoujin4.4.38-v7+23:01
tsimonq2hmm23:01
Ihoujinthat changed from the original when I performed a dist-upgrade before.23:02
tsimonq2Ihoujin: Oh, /boot/config-4.4.38-v7+ ?23:02
IhoujinProblem is, my boot directory does not contain the config-uname file23:03
tsimonq2Oh, hm.23:03
tsimonq2Ihoujin: I'm not sure on this one, ask in #ubuntu?23:04
IhoujinI also tried a fresh image on a blank card. it was not present originally23:04
tsimonq2Interesting.23:06
Ihoujinalternative locations such as /boot/config is not present, and I do not have a compressed version in /proc either.23:08
wxlIhoujin: try `modprobe configs` and then you might find it in /proc23:11
