lalitmeehello guys, I am trying to move application to other desktop/worksapce but its not working?04:34
wxllalitmee: what version and how are you trying to do it?04:36
lalitmeewx1: thank you so much. I got the solution. Actually I was trying with `ctrl+shift+alt+arrow` but it is `shift+alt+arrow`04:37
wxllalitmee: sounds good. you can change that in ~/.config/openbox/lubuntu-rc.xml btw04:38
lalitmeewx1: okk but I think its good for me with less keys. :)04:38
wxllalitmee: i guess what i mean is if you wanted to change to something else04:39
lalitmeewx1: yeah I got it. thank you so much04:39

fishcookerhow to disable lxqt-powermanagemant desktop notification ?07:02
fishcookeri've desktop notification error message about  lxqt idleness watcher failed to start07:04
sliptteesHi guys12:58
sliptteesI have shared volume and mounted using cifs without problems. But in lubuntu 18.04 mount not appears in my Desktop like USB for example.13:05
sliptteesLubuntu 16.04 this mount work full13:05
norok2I would like to create a usb bootable disk from lubuntu iso without using the hybrid iso method13:33
norok2the idea is to install lubuntu on an old asus eee pc13:33
norok2(which does not have optical drive)13:34
sliptteesnorok2: try i38613:34
norok2slipttees: I tried that, but it is not seen at boot13:34
norok2I was wondering if there is some tutorial on creating the usb stick using the old method13:35
norok2I believe that worked, since I got 14.04 installed once13:36
norok2but now I would not even know how to recreate the 14.04 usb disk13:37
sliptteesnorok2: 18.04 no go?13:38
leszekunetbootin extracts the ISO contents and puts it onto a fat32 formatted usb stick and installs syslinux as bootloader. So I think this is what you want13:38
norok2leszek: trying unetbootin now, I tried multibootusb http://multibootusb.org/ which is supposedly doing the same, and it did not work (I think it installed some uefi-enabled syslinux, but I am not sure)13:49
norok2slipttees: 18.04 creates the usb using the usb-creator, that works fine on my system, but not on eee pc13:50
sliptteesnorok2: eee pc 1000H?13:53
norok2eee pc 700 (the one and only! :'D)13:58
norok2leszek: unetbootin also does not work13:58
leszekthat means?13:59
norok2disk is not seen as bootable by eeepc, the usb stick is fat32 and it works on another system13:59
leszekthe boot flag is set for the partition? Are you sure it isn't a general problem of the eeePC? Usually it should list whatever usb disk is inserted regardless of bootable or not14:00
norok2it is seen by the system, but not bootable14:01
norok2boot flag is set14:01
leszekbut you are sure you used the 32bit version of lubuntu? And unetbootin=?14:04
norok2yep14:04
norok2unetbootin-linux-661.bin14:04
leszeknot sure what the issue is then. Did the usb stick booted before on that hardware?14:05
sliptteesnorok2: enable usb boot?14:05
sliptteescheck bios14:05
norok2bios is good, I'll try a different usb stick14:05
sliptteesI have shared volume and mounted using cifs without problems. But in lubuntu 18.04 mount not appears in my Desktop like USB for example.  Lubuntu 16.04 this mount work ful14:15
sliptteesinstall lubuntu 18.04.1 i try cifs mount network shared. PcmanFm Desktop mount Volumes doesn't work! :/18:19

wxlyou're installing lxqt stuff in versions of lubuntu <18.10?21:43
[IFOC]Sis this the right place to post lubuntu bugs? https://bugs.launchpad.net/lubuntu23:42
wxl[IFOC]S: i would suggest doing `ubuntu-bug yourpackage` in a terminal23:42
