cousin_luigiGreetings.05:58
cousin_luigiIs there a way to be notified of new tags in a launchpad.net project? e.g. via rss/atom ?05:59
cjwatsoncousin_luigi: Do you mean a bzr branch or a git repository?11:53
cjwatsoncousin_luigi: In either case, I don't think there's a way to do that at the moment.  You can subscribe to a Bazaar branch and be notified of new revisions in the branch, but I don't think there's anything to notify you of new tags.  In the Git case, even new-commit subscriptions aren't implemented yet.11:56
cousin_luigicjwatson: I'm not sure, https://launchpad.net/rapid/pyqt this is the one I'd like.12:22
cousin_luigicjwatson: Milestones and releases, I suppose.12:22
cjwatsoncousin_luigi: I don't understand what you mean by "tag" then.12:22
cjwatsonOh right.12:22
cousin_luigiIf it's not possible, is there a suggestion box somewhere?12:23
cjwatsonI don't believe we have any kind of feed for that.12:23
cjwatsonWe have a bug tracking system for that kind of thing.  https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad12:23
cjwatsonThough there is already a bug about this.  https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/42418912:24
ubot5Ubuntu bug 424189 in Launchpad itself "Subscribe to milestones and series" [Low,Triaged]12:24
cousin_luigicjwatson: Thanks, will file a feature request to that effect then.12:24
cousin_luigiOh.12:24
cousin_luigi2009. I won't hold my breath.12:25
cjwatsonNo work on that is currently planned, indeed.12:25
cousin_luigiI guess I'm out of luck.12:27

oSoMoNcjwatson, I just discovered that a snap on LP can be configured to use snapcraft as a snap from a specific channel when an automated build is triggered by changes in the branch, but I don't seem to be able to do that when manually requesting a build from the /+request-builds page, is there a way to do that?16:14
cjwatsonoSoMoN: https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/179126517:18
ubot5Ubuntu bug 1791265 in Launchpad itself "Manual snap builds don't allow for snapcraft/snapd channel selection" [Undecided,New]17:18
oSoMoNcjwatson, thanks, any chance of getting this scheduled?17:52
cjwatsonI'll see if I can fit it in somewhere, but not promising17:53
cjwatsonYou can work around it using the API17:53
oSoMoNcjwatson, if there's a workaround that's good enough for me, is there documentation for the API?18:05
cjwatsonoSoMoN: https://dogfood.paddev.net/+apidoc/devel.html#snap-requestBuilds18:07
cjwatsonerr18:07
cjwatsonoSoMoN: https://launchpad.net/+apidoc/devel.html#snap-requestBuilds, sorry, over-clever firefox location bar18:07
cjwatsonyou can probably ignore the async stuff there unless you're building an app on top of LP that needs to check18:08
oSoMoNthanks, I'll check and play with it after dinner18:11
