=== brainwash_ is now known as brainwash [04:40] Hi everyone. How can I fully remove xubuntu from withing ubuntu desktop [14:57] Hey everyone, when I switch off my monitor and turn it back on again, it sets the resolution to 1920x1080 but I want it to be 1366x768 so I have to switch it in the display manager everytime. Is there a way to save the resolution? [14:58] Ilotoxy, no clue about that one but you could make a script that runs at startup or a shortcut with this command: xrandr --size 1366x768 [15:00] diogenes_ thanks, well, my pc is running 24/7, I only switch of my monitors with a adapter switch, so I guess that won't work. I just have my third monitor with the 1366x768 resolution [20:07] so if you used a different os how would you get driver support for random hardware? [20:10] lol wrong channel [20:28] PileOfDirt: When "a different os" is windows, yes, very likely ;) [20:28] i have some friends that want to make their own os because reasons [21:03] ah, ok [22:32] I told my friend to use reactos lol [22:57] Hello, by mistake some days before I deleted some of my folder (e.g. Bilder, Musik). Fortunately I had have a backup. [22:58] But now I miss the default folders in Thunar. [22:58] How can I re-initialize those default folders in Thunar, I use XUbuntu 18.10 (Xfce) [23:05] Usually there is a small icon for each folder, e.g. a house for home folder, a desktop for desktop folder, a melody sign for Music folder and so on. Those small icons I miss. An icon tells more than words.
