Can not test :X I am using lightdm + xsession and seems that /etc/xdg/autostart is not handled by xsession. openbox package will create this path(probably other DE too) [18:24] muhaha, from what I can tell, there is no one package that creates it. There are many packages that create files inside it, and presumably create the directory if needed.
