I think you've got this, but I don't count chickens before they're hatched. === himcesjf_ is now known as him-cesjf [21:27] @Eickmeyer, thats a good policy, the egg might be an alligator [21:28] @MichaelTunnell, "OMG.. ThAt ChicKen iS grEEen, aNd HaS shArRrrRp TEEtH!" [21:29] exactly! [21:30] (Document) https://irc-attachments.kde.org/YYXQsi0a/file_14172.mp4 [21:32] @Eickmeyer, I choose to believe it [21:32] @MichaelTunnell, You would know better than I.. [21:33] @Eickmeyer, not really [21:33] yikes! [21:33] well depends if you mean video editing or because I'm southern lol [21:33] * valorie hopes that gator had a strap around the snout [21:34] @MichaelTunnell, Yes. [21:34] @Eickmeyer, lol how dare you [21:34] @valorie the gif is fake but a good fake [21:34] @IrcsomeBot, They turn into puppies if you lay them on thier backs. [21:35] lolol [21:35] they eat cats and small dogs in one bite! [21:35] @Eickmeyer that's only true if your scratch them in a counter clockwise circle [21:35] @valorie, CHOMP!! om nom nom... [21:35] and they can be *fast* [21:36] @MichaelTunnell, "Who's a good gator! YOU'RE A GOOD GATOR! YES YOU ARE! NOw... give me back my hand and call 911. [21:36] lol [21:37] I saw and -- more scary, heard -- them in the Wekiva River near Orlando, Florida [21:37] we were sitting around an outside fire, and heard a huge crash/splash [21:38] friend turned on the searchlight and saw just a huge pair of glaring eyes in the river [21:38] not the tree it sounded like [21:38] When I was 13 my family and I went to Florida for vacation and were going to watch a space shuttle launch (which was scrubbed), but while we were lining the river with the watch group, some gators decided to join the party a little downstream. [21:39] wekiva river is paradise [21:39] and you don't swim in that river [21:40] alligators are our moose . . . they are very cool and incredibly scary so you just hope they dont want to chat :D [21:41] I've heard some moose stories, yeah [21:41] We have elk in these parts. You don't want to mess with them if you know what's good for you. [21:41] Especially the bulls. [21:42] esp. in mating season [21:42] usually they just walk away though [21:42] but they are huge [21:42] I had a bull elk try to confront me on the way home once. It wasn't going to end well for either one of us had he not stopped playing chicken first. [21:43] when you were driving? or walking [21:43] Evening, after sundown. [21:43] Driving [21:43] yeah, not sure how good their eyes are [21:44] That was when I had a suburban. Now I have a 1-ton diesel pickup with a grill guard. Probably wouldn't have ended well for the elk in that case. [21:44] right [21:44] One got hit on I-90 on Monday. Looked like a crime scene. [21:45] :( [21:45] bad for all involved [21:45] Yep. [21:48] ok, can't stay inside for another minute [21:48] too nice out there! [21:48] * Eickmeyer is off to get his son from school soon too
