mathieu__Hi, I am looking for a suggestion on how to best report a kernel bug. I tried $ ubuntu-bug linux but this appears to collect information using dmesg since the last boot. I have logs from the previous buggy boot and I wonder what I should do with them. 11:24
apwmathieu__, you can file a bug with www.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+filebug and attach the files by hand12:34
mathieu__apw, ok, will do12:34

sorinelloHello. Anyone knows how well Ubuntu supports BTRFS ? I maybe someone knows. I found some articles f rom 2015-2016 NOT recommending BTRFS yet21:51
chilukIt supports btrfs as well as the kernel on which it was forked supports it.22:02
chilukthe article you are referencing is probably more a statement on the stability/reliability of the filesystem..22:03
chilukof which I have not heard very many good things..22:03
chilukbasically btrfs is the least stable of the common filesystems.22:04
chiluk #eatsyourdata22:04
chilukI'm sure cking has more opions on that.22:04
