acheronukbdmurray: hi, apport seems to have regressed on its i386 test since last upload LP: #183212008:02

kozaHey everybody. I am using bionic and I have added arm64 architecture via sudo dpkg --add-architecture arm64 however now the apt update renders lots of 404 errors (like: 404  Not Found [IP: 153.19.251.225 80]) Is it normal? What is the way to add another architecture?10:50
cjwatsonarm64 lives on ports.ubuntu.com rather than archive.ubuntu.com, which requires some sources.list finagling10:53
cjwatsonSomething like adding [arch=amd64] just after the "deb " on each archive.ubuntu.com line in sources.list, and then adding "deb [arch=arm64] http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports bionic main restricted universe multiverse" (and similarly for bionic-updates)10:54
cjwatsonLikewise for security.ubuntu.com10:54
cjwatsonYou can read "man sources.list" for more details10:55
cjwatsonOh, also, this is not a release management question, please use #ubuntu for this kind of thing next time10:56
kozacjwatson: thanks10:58
LocutusOfBorghello, can we please have diaspora-installer/0.7.6.1+debian1/armhf hinted? it is regressed in release (it is just a downloader), and I have reported it upstream https://github.com/codahale/bcrypt-ruby/issues/20114:32
LocutusOfBorgbut not something we can easily fix in Ubuntu side, since gems are handled on rubygems.org website, not internally14:33
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- New binary: linux-signed-oem [amd64] (bionic-proposed/main) [4.15.0-1041.46] (kernel)15:06
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: python-glance-store (cosmic-proposed/main) [0.26.1-0ubuntu2.1 => 0.26.1-0ubuntu2.2] (openstack, ubuntu-server)15:10
acheronukvorlon: could I perhaps get a skiptest for konsole in proposed please? the i386 apport test fail is not the fault of konsole. LP: #183212015:25
ubot5Launchpad bug 1832120 in apport (Ubuntu) "i386 - Test fails 'test_get_file_package_uninstalled_multiarch'" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/183212015:25
vorlonacheronuk: badtested apport instead16:01
acheronukvorlon: thanks! that is fair enough16:01
tewardvorlon: i'm seeing a lot of openssl-related things, including a note that openssl has been released, yet it still only shows in proposed for me, i take it that's normal in this case?16:17
tewardeven though that SRU is marked as "Fix Released"16:17
vorlonteward: the emails arrive before the archive publishing is visible on the mirror16:32
tewardah, okay.  so EVENTUALLY it'll be fully published.16:32
tewardas soon as things sync up.16:32
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: livecd-rootfs (bionic-proposed/main) [2.525.26 => 2.525.27] (desktop-core)17:48
ddstreetis the xenial sru queue still getting reviewed?18:23
-queuebot:#ubuntu-release- Unapproved: accepted python-tornado [source] (bionic-proposed) [4.5.3-1ubuntu0.1]18:30
vorlonddstreet: yes, though speaking only for myself I tend to look at queues in reverse chronological order, and I never made it to xenial on Friday because d/c/b kept me busy18:34
EickmeyerLooks like both budgie and studio failed to build today, but can't see that it's for the same reasons. In Studio's case it appears to be a conflict with the nvidia drivers? I was in the process of adding them to the seed, but hadn't finished processing the meta yet.18:35
Eickmeyerhttps://launchpadlibrarian.net/427666228/buildlog_ubuntu_eoan_amd64_ubuntustudio_BUILDING.txt.gz18:38
rbasakddstreet, vorlon: FWIW, usually I review the queues in forward chronological order of release, but I tend to skip big and/or complicated SRUs on my first pass, and rarely get to a second.20:34
* cjwatson removes gcc-defaults-ports/cosmic-proposed because it's causing the publisher to OOPS; commented on bug 1828171 with an explanation22:15
