[14:07] roaksoax, i updated the ticket I opened on the issue [14:08] https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1836089 [14:09] seffyroff: i've replied on your discourse post [14:09] seffyroff: you should attach rackd.log while the machine pxe's [14:13] ok sure thing. And thanks for replying :) [14:49] logs attached [14:49] https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1836089 [14:56] and to be clear the machine I'm attempting to pxeboot is metal, not VM. and it is not EFI [15:05] hi everyone! I am trying to deploy a Debian image with MAAS. I had it working perfectly fine with 2.4 (the default bionic package). Now I tried with 2.6 (from maas stable ppa), and I can't get it to work anymore. Curtin seems to be overwriting the apt sources in the target image, which i do not want. [15:06] i tried messing with /etc/maas/preseeds/curtin_userdata_custom (that made it work with 2.4) and /etc/maas/preseeds/curtin_userdata (just in case), but it didn't help [15:07] i am not sure how to get exect seed data for curtin as rendered by maas, when i requests the URL i see in the logs like "/MAAS/metadata/curtin/2012-03-01/user-data", i get "Not authenticated as a known node." when trying to curl it [15:09] if anyone has any pointers, i'd much appreciate it. also happy to post specific output [15:10] basically curtin is running apt-get update in the target system and it fails because it tries to retrieve package URLs like "http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu stretch InRelease" [16:11] disabled the curthooks stage for now guess i'll have to do my own postprocessing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ === ubuntu1 is now known as rick_h_
