[06:46] morning boys and girls. [07:51] o/ [08:02] \o [08:14] morning everyone [08:18] morning [08:24] hey brobostigon [08:24] hows it hangin dude [08:29] reinstalled haiku on my eeepc, works beautifully, my portable friend, otherwise not bad, and you? [08:30] whow :) thats a throwback. What EEE do you have , [08:30] 900 ssd 1gb ram. [08:31] Ho god :) You still use that one ? [08:31] I think i have a 1st gen 701 lying around here [08:31] yes :). i use it mostly at the gaming table to reference rules and spells etc. [08:32] because it is nice and small, and doesnt overwhelm the table. [08:33] yep , thats true. [08:33] and its still a nice geeky machine [08:33] oh yes, :) [08:34] and being a netbook, it is such an extreme usecase for haiku, that its useful to work out problems on. [08:36] https://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/3933 and i helped work out the bug, that helped haiku run on it. [08:39] awesome :) [08:39] :) [09:18] thinking of trying tinycore on my old netbook. 1gb of ram doesn't run any modern distros well anymore [09:19] and by distro, i assume you mean a gnu/linux OS, not something like haiku or a bsd. [09:20] i have tried openbsd on said eeepc, and it works quite well.
