I'm trying to figure out why system path to my additional HDDs changed from /username/media/ to /media/username. [03:02] Was there an update on that or something? [03:03] hmmm, it's been media/username as long as I remember [03:05] Disregard. It was. [06:00] control+alt+f2, 3, 4, etc. [06:00] yes i can [06:00] just tested [06:00] if so you may be able to continue there in the terminal [06:01] sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade to start [06:01] thanks for the helping i will do that and back here to tell [06:02] and when that's done sudo do-release-upgrade [06:03] when i try to login there asks a login and a password, but since i didnt created one i dont know what to do [06:04] im logged as kubuntu@kubuntu [06:04] does just hitting return work? [06:04] let me check [06:04] nope. it just asks me the login again [06:05] if you haven't even created a password yet, I would just remove the thumbdrive and reboot [06:05] it means nothing has really been started [06:06] i did! [06:06] i just entered login: kubuntu and pass: (nothing) [06:08] ah [06:08] but if that doesn't work in your terminal, your computer doesn't "know" it [06:08] because it hasn't been made to happen [06:09] oh [06:11] I'm not the world's biggest expert [06:12] its true, i can't create new packages [06:12] x.x [06:13] what I would do is find a new thumbdrive and start over [06:15] i will try that. thanks === rathore is now known as rathore_ === gyl is now known as gyl_ === gyl_ is now known as gyl [08:58] hello [08:59] is it work? === blake is now known as Guest56905 === Guest56905 is now known as Blake337 [11:13] Howdy folks [11:18] Hello === vincent is now known as Guest29951 [14:21] how i can remaster kubuntu 19.04 to my live iso ? === MANIAC is now known as Guest81163 === msalvatore_ is now known as msalvatore [17:14] Hiiii [17:25] H_A_S_H was added by: H_A_S_H === kobberholm_ is now known as kobberholm === Lord_of_Life_ is now known as Lord_of_Life [19:42] hi. I am running kubuntu 19.04. I played arround with the panels, deleted the default panel, etc... then wanted to return to default and added the "plasma default panel". but now opening the menu with super key does not work anymore. [19:42] any tips for me? [19:46] pragomer, start with a new user. [19:47] diogenes_: really.. is this SO serious?? [19:48] pragomer, if everything works with a new user then the problem most ikely is in your .config folder so that's how you narrow down the promlem. [19:48] ok, I see... will rename my config completly and see what works. [19:48] thank you [19:49] better do it in VT [19:49] out of X [19:49] ok, you are right. will do it in tty [20:07] Can someone please help me set up the environment so that it is CLI friendly. I can build everithing with kdesrc-build, but I can't open projects with Qt Creator. I misses ECM, After setting -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=~/kde, make, make install, I have ~/kde/share/ECM. I exporting that to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH and made a step forward. Now It misses libkgapi [20:08] It ma go like this a lot, How can I not only build but also install and set the appropriate environment variables in an automatic fashion? === MANIAC is now known as Guest83099 [20:14] biowep: in deb/ubuntu you can sudo apt build-dep packagename [20:14] or close to that [20:15] there might be close in other distros
