inteloI have downloaded this Kubuntu image, created usb but it has installed ubuntu. not kubuntu. what could have been wrong? cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/18.04/release/kubuntu-18.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso14:16
BluesKajintelo, are you referring to the grub bootloader? If so grub lists all flavors of ubuntu as Ubuntu in grub, including kubuntu14:22
RikMillswe used to have it as Kubuntu, but that broken signed grub which needed just 'ubuntu' to be there14:23

m_tadeuhi...my computer sudenly turns off...I'm thinking it's some hard drive failure, since it happens when I intensively use that drive...how can I check this?16:56
BluesKajm_tadeu, it could be a thermal shutdown if you're doing intensive work16:58
m_tadeuBluesKaj: can be...how can I verify that?16:59
BluesKajyou could use Ksysguard to check the cpu loads16:59
BluesKajor look in /var/log/syslog for errors17:00
