daftykinsi'd be curious to learn if flashback is even getting maintained, seems to me it's always a bad idea to hang onto the past00:09

antimatroidI recently got my site manager put on on the snapcraft store, would be stoked if people gave it a go, all feedback welcome08:44
antimatroidhttps://snapcraft.io/install/nsm/ubuntu08:44
antimatroidofficial site is at https://nift.cc08:44
antimatroidyou can import/fork template site repositories to work from from bitbucket/github/gitlab and push changes back using nsm bcp "commit message", see https://nift.cc/resources/templates.html for templates08:45
OerHeksinteresting antimatroid08:57
antimatroidOerHeks: cheers, a lot of site managers/generators seem to be geared towards just static sites, nsm should work fine for dynamic sites as well08:57
OerHekscurrently not involved in site-maintenance, but bookmarked08:58
antimatroidit's good for simple sites too, I made my personal site n-ham.com with it09:00
antimatroidstars on github/gitlab help with rankings on things like staticgen.com09:00
antimatroidhttps://github.com/nifty-site-manager/nsm (switch github for gitlab for gitlab)09:00
antimatroidI'm developing some ai contests too and made the sites for those with nsm, see https://ai-bots.net and https://tron.ai-bots.net for demo sites09:01
antimatroiddid anyone see the Google sponsored ai comps back around 2009-11? They will be similar to those09:01

lotuspsychjeOerHeks: you got the weekend clowns again?18:46
OerHeksoh, it is friday, hummmm18:47
lotuspsychjejeez man18:47
lotuspsychjeisnt there a fancy new game released or something?18:47
OerHeksi worked in the garden today, we bought for €175 fresh plants18:47
lotuspsychjeoh?18:48
OerHeksthe buxus were eaten by a moth family18:49
lotuspsychjegardening is an expensive hobby indeed18:49
OerHeksall residents pay €0,95/month for the green stuff, so there is money enough, 100 residents18:50
OerHeksThey want to increase to €2 or so, but we have no clue what to do with all that money18:52
TJ-Why is gardening expensive?18:52
OerHeks€250 from last year..18:52
OerHekswe bought a lot of plants, with discount, we bought the not that nice ones..18:52
lotuspsychjeTJ-: plants cost money18:52
OerHekswhich will be beautifull in a month, or next year18:53
TJ-oh, you buy them do you?18:53
OerHeksfor myself, i do not buy plants, just good soil, plant i get or find on the street, and stone pots too.. mostly at the end of the season18:54
lotuspsychjenetherlands is known for that heh, alot of pots/plants outside front door18:55
OerHeksthere are 5 big containers, places to avoid parking cars near the entrance18:55
lotuspsychjewow18:56
OerHeksmade of plastic from carparts18:56
TJ-yeah, we use cuttings or home-grown seed. People always willing to share seeds/cuttings18:57
OerHeksoh i do that too, in september i buy seeds with discount ..18:59
OerHekslike buying sweaters in summer, and shorts in the winter19:00
lotuspsychjewait, august is discount in netherlands?19:00
OerHekswe have no static discounts like in belgium19:00
lotuspsychjehere its july and january19:01
OerHeksi know, and your shops cannot buy special offers just for those 2 periods, one must have it in stock before that19:02
OerHekshere it is free game, but somewhat limited, like you cannot do this year round19:03
lotuspsychjeright19:03
lotuspsychjeour discounts are actually rip-off, unsold stuff rate higher= make it look like its cheap19:04
lotuspsychje=better business19:04
OerHeksyesterday i read about an apple farmer in spain, €0,08/kg ... he cannot pay for the petrol to get the crop of the land19:05
OerHeksand in the supermarket we still pay €3,50/kg19:06
lotuspsychje: o19:06
OerHeks:-D19:06
OerHeksthis madness will soon end .. or not19:06
lotuspsychjeand a biological apple is special, we used to pull it off a tree..19:06
lotuspsychje3x more expensive19:06
OerHeksi used to pick apples and cherries too, digging potatoes from the start of the field, 5x10 meter where the machine skips the first part19:07
OerHekscutting tulips,  100 x 50, and get 5 bundles free19:08
OerHeksif one is smart, one can go shopping without money19:08
lotuspsychjeforgotten of that nl tulips :p19:08
lotuspsychjesaw tons of them in amdsterdam19:09
OerHeksgoing to the fish market, for fish heads, njummie, fish-cheek-soup19:10
lotuspsychjelol19:10
lotuspsychjeliquid sushi19:10
OerHeksthat used to be the poor fishermans soup, now a high cuisine recepy, tin of campbells + fishheads, filet19:11
lotuspsychjelol19:11
lotuspsychjefine (plastic) kitchen19:12
TJ-when I was a kid we used to grow Tulips here on the farm, mostly for the bulbs, but we'd also sell the flowers from a caravan on the road-side19:58
tomreynand then you invented husky driven computing?20:03
tomreynand huskell, the programming language20:05
TJ-hehehe there's a good idea!20:23
TJ-I've got a server that failed after losing power earlier, systemd drops to emergency console due to dailed 'dev-...' jobs. Seems the root of the problem is a VG didn't activate correctly, or rather the udev rules to create the /dev/disk/by-uuid/ symlinks failed to run. As aresult startup got stuck because an fsck job son't run because it is specified by the /dev/disk/by-uuid/ node. I did a "udevadm20:26
TJ-trigger" which added the /dev/mapper/ symlinks but still not got the /dev/disk/by* .... any ideas ?20:26
TJ-the by-uuid rules for raw devices (sda-sde) are there, but not those that should be created by 60-persistent-storage-dm.rules20:28
