They will be similar to those [09:23] hi [09:23] i am back [09:23] marcoagpinto, [09:23] what? I trashed my addressbook using CardBook... I was copying contacts between groups and some became no longer associated with the groups and the photos vanished [11:42] I am readding the photos that vanished [13:28] guys?! I am terribly stressed!!!! It is almost work day!!!! [13:47] marcoagpinto, isn't it like the middle of your work day already? === lotus|i5 is now known as lotuspsychje [15:10] Q: why would one want to *hide* SSH brute force attacks? A: because one is attacking. [15:11] c.f. silus [15:11] tomreyn: ^ [15:17] FYI is anyone sees a question: https://kubuntu.org/news/fixes-for-recent-kde-desktop-vulnerability/ [15:18] *if anyone [15:20] BluesKaj: ^ [15:20] thanks RikMills [15:22] JimBuntu: I work in a supermarket on the weekends [15:23] hi marcoagpinto [15:23] hey EoflaOE marcoagpinto [15:23] hi lotuspsychje [15:23] hey [15:24] I have a part-time job [15:25] 16 hours/week [15:25] 8 + 8 [15:25] but it is terrible on the weekends [15:30] marcoagpinto: nice [15:32] it is useless to work in a normal job... dad was a director in the bank and now that he is retired, he is poor [15:32] :) [15:32] so, life leads nowhere [15:32] hggdh: thanks, hadn't seen this [15:33] but in fact this was just confirmed by PM [16:03] !info qxmledit [16:03] Package qxmledit does not exist in bionic [18:40] lotuspsychje: you have returned! [18:41] >:) [18:46] OerHeks: you got the weekend clowns again? [18:47] oh, it is friday, hummmm [18:47] jeez man [18:47] isnt there a fancy new game released or something? [18:47] i worked in the garden today, we bought for €175 fresh plants [18:48] oh? [18:49] the buxus were eaten by a moth family [18:49] gardening is an expensive hobby indeed [18:50] all residents pay €0,95/month for the green stuff, so there is money enough, 100 residents [18:52] They want to increase to €2 or so, but we have no clue what to do with all that money [18:52] Why is gardening expensive? [18:52] €250 from last year.. [18:52] we bought a lot of plants, with discount, we bought the not that nice ones.. [18:52] TJ-: plants cost money [18:53] which will be beautifull in a month, or next year [18:53] oh, you buy them do you? [18:54] for myself, i do not buy plants, just good soil, plant i get or find on the street, and stone pots too.. mostly at the end of the season [18:55] netherlands is known for that heh, alot of pots/plants outside front door [18:55] there are 5 big containers, places to avoid parking cars near the entrance [18:56] wow [18:56] made of plastic from carparts [18:57] yeah, we use cuttings or home-grown seed. People always willing to share seeds/cuttings [18:59] oh i do that too, in september i buy seeds with discount .. [19:00] like buying sweaters in summer, and shorts in the winter [19:00] wait, august is discount in netherlands? [19:00] we have no static discounts like in belgium [19:01] here its july and january [19:02] i know, and your shops cannot buy special offers just for those 2 periods, one must have it in stock before that [19:03] here it is free game, but somewhat limited, like you cannot do this year round [19:03] right [19:04] our discounts are actually rip-off, unsold stuff rate higher= make it look like its cheap [19:04] =better business [19:05] yesterday i read about an apple farmer in spain, €0,08/kg ... he cannot pay for the petrol to get the crop of the land [19:06] and in the supermarket we still pay €3,50/kg [19:06] : o [19:06] :-D [19:06] this madness will soon end .. or not [19:06] and a biological apple is special, we used to pull it off a tree.. [19:06] 3x more expensive [19:07] i used to pick apples and cherries too, digging potatoes from the start of the field, 5x10 meter where the machine skips the first part [19:08] cutting tulips, 100 x 50, and get 5 bundles free [19:08] if one is smart, one can go shopping without money [19:08] forgotten of that nl tulips :p [19:09] saw tons of them in amdsterdam [19:10] going to the fish market, for fish heads, njummie, fish-cheek-soup [19:10] lol [19:10] liquid sushi [19:11] that used to be the poor fishermans soup, now a high cuisine recepy, tin of campbells + fishheads, filet [19:11] lol [19:12] fine (plastic) kitchen [19:58] when I was a kid we used to grow Tulips here on the farm, mostly for the bulbs, but we'd also sell the flowers from a caravan on the road-side [20:03] and then you invented husky driven computing? [20:05] and huskell, the programming language [20:23] hehehe there's a good idea! [20:26] I've got a server that failed after losing power earlier, systemd drops to emergency console due to dailed 'dev-...' jobs. Seems the root of the problem is a VG didn't activate correctly, or rather the udev rules to create the /dev/disk/by-uuid/ symlinks failed to run. As aresult startup got stuck because an fsck job son't run because it is specified by the /dev/disk/by-uuid/ node. I did a "udevadm [20:26] trigger" which added the /dev/mapper/ symlinks but still not got the /dev/disk/by* .... any ideas ? [20:28] the by-uuid rules for raw devices (sda-sde) are there, but not those that should be created by 60-persistent-storage-dm.rules === postre is now known as dorami === dorami is now known as Jouarez === Jouarez is now known as dorami
