alkisgHi, I tried `add-apt-repository ppa:ltsp` in buster and it works. It used "eoan" for the release series. I'm looking to find out how it did the buster<=>eoan mapping, any hints on where to look?03:34
alkisgAlso, am I allowed to use a PPA for Debian users? E.g. is it against the rules to "waste bandwidth" for debian users? I'm not asking if it will work on not, I assume it will and I will test it before inviting users (talking about the new ltsp, which will be arch:any, mostly shell)03:34
alkisgBtw, most ltsp users use ubuntu and will also use that new ppa, it won't be "just" for debian...03:34
alkisgAh, I tested it from stretch and it used eoan again; I guess it's just using whatever's the latest one at the time it runs, ok. That leaves the question "am I allowed to"?03:50

cjwatsonnhasian: I've dealt with ncurses before and the particular symbols that it was complaining about as unresolved in the build log sounded like the kinds of ones that would be likely to be wide-character variants13:25
cjwatsonalkisg: not against the rules13:25
alkisgThank you cjwatson13:50
