silesmi'm trying to get 4.15.0-58-generic to boot on AWS metal instances and it's not passing the initial status checks00:16
silesmi'm wondering how i can better understand the diffs between that kernel and the linux-aws kernel series so that i can base what i'm doing off of generic00:17
silesmi need videodev, which isn't in the linux-aws kernels, but is in the generic kernels. but the generic kernels don't boot metal instances. :/00:17
logan-i'm seeing very strange file permission behaviors on xenial lxc containers that cropped up in my jobs over the past 2 days. main difference i'm seeing is the nodes that worked 2 days ago had 4.4.0-157 based images, the nodes failing today have 4.4.0-15904:37

logan-stop/start of the container seems to fix it also 04:39
