cpaelzergood morning (or whatever applies to you)05:47
cpaelzercould I ask for soem extra space in https://launchpad.net/~paelzer/+archive/ubuntu/bug-1832622-qemu-spectre-ppc/+packages05:47
cpaelzerI realized that four qemu builds seem to really exceed the limits oO05:48
cpaelzer2G ->30G should make a new upload fit05:48
cpaelzeras 4 qemus currently are at 16.8G05:48
cpaelzerActually I think I can just use another PPA for now, might be even better05:50
cpaelzerif you haven't started yet feel free to ignore the request to increase the size05:50
wgrantDone anyway05:55
wxlwhen i run `a2x --format manpage` in eoan, everything works fine, but it seems to fail in validating the intermediate xml file with `xmllint` though running this manually again on my own machine doesn't produce the same problem. what am i missing? https://launchpadlibrarian.net/437902372/buildlog_ubuntu-eoan-amd64.compton_7.3-0ubuntu1~ppa2_BUILDING.txt.gz05:55
wgrantwxl: Consider updating your build scripts to not use --noout so you can see the actual error and work out what's different in your local environment.05:57
wgrante.g. it's possible you have extra DTDs installed locally05:58
wgrants/possible/very likely/05:58
wxlok let me see if i can figure something out05:58
wgrantShould be reproducible in sbuild locally05:59
wxli got to figure out how to set options for xmllint05:59
wxl(through a2x)05:59
wxlwgrant: i took a slightly different approach and checked which packages i have manually installed that have installed to /usr/share/xml and i've got docbook-xml, docbook-xsl, and libdbus-1-dev. that last one is a build depend of the package i'm working on, so that's not it. is it likely that those docbook packages are the problem???06:30
wgrantwxl: That's not really something we can help with directly06:31
wgrantYou'll need to test06:31
wxlwgrant: one thing: are recommends installed by default with dependencies?06:34
wxlbuild dependencies i mean06:36
wgrantwxl: They're not. If you check the build log you'll see them listed in apt output, not in the to-be-installed section06:36
wxlthat should get me there. thanks!06:37
wxlphew finally got it. thanks again07:05
cpaelzerThere are currently 13 UFW tests on http://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/running#pkg-ufw; all are stuck on "Test get_netfilter_capabilities() ..." in the "build-needed" stage. This will not recover due to bug 1840633. It would be great if someone could cancel them. FYI: Since I don't exactly know who can do this I posted this on multiple channels.09:43
ubot5bug 1840633 in ufw (Ubuntu) "autopkgtests get stuck in Eoan with iptables 1.8.3" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/184063309:43
ricotzcjwatson, hi :), looks like the ppa publisher needs a kick ;)14:07
* ricotz thinks it was already kicked and is already crawling through the backlog14:08
