From what I understand it's a fork of the MATE screen saver which in return is a fork of the GNOME screen saver. Which ultimately comes from Xscreensaver. Is it safe to say that XFCE screen saver is just the same as XScreensaver in terms of being 100% combatible with all Xscreensaver modules....even the new ones that come out? Or should I just run straight Xscreensaver to ensure I get [21:03] all the old and new screensavers that come out for Xscreensaver?
