[01:15] hello === brainwash_ is now known as brainwash === guiverc2 is now known as guiverc [02:52] Hello :) [02:53] hi [02:53] First time here [02:53] Not new to Linux though :) [02:54] cool [02:55] How are you? [02:56] sleepless, and you? [02:57] Not too bad thanks :) [02:58] Have you been running Xubuntu for long? :) [02:58] for quite a bit yes. [02:59] Very good :) [03:00] I guess it's a matter of resources but I do wish Xubuntu had 5 years of LTS. [03:00] yeah that would be handy. [03:01] Maybe in the future. :) Who knows. [03:01] I will probably see how I get on with it. [03:01] Going to put it on a Asrock Beebox [03:04] it looks like intel's nuc. [03:04] It's really :) [03:04] But without the NUC pricetag :) [03:05] hehe [03:05] I've gone for the N300 - fanless one [03:05] *000 [03:05] I think ;) [03:05] Useful to have on at night - whilst I sleep [03:06] ok then come with a feedback on how xubuntu works on it. [03:08] Will do :) [03:08] I imagine very well :) [03:18] Goodbye for now :0 [03:18] :) [03:18] see you === test is now known as Guest27220 === sorinello__ is now known as sorinello === sorinello1 is now known as sorinello [16:31] hey folks, do you guys know/recommend any PPAs that would have a bunch of popular Windows Managers, Icons, Styles and other fun theming stuff for XFCE? [16:31] ʘ‿ʘ [22:01] Is there a way to boost the wifi card in Xubuntu so it can pick up wifi in the area? I fixed the issue earlier where it wasn't able to pick up any wifi. Now it sometimes captures wifi in the area but not mine. I had to travel 30 minutes away to use an ethernet to do that. So I was banking on this fixing the entire issue. [22:05] there is probably some wireless channels on freenode where fplks can provide better suggestions on making your wireless work best. [22:05] it will more likel yinvolve physical changes than software changes [22:06] such as positioning and directing antennas properly, or to attach a better antenna [22:11] that makes sense, Im brand new here [22:12] !alis [22:12] Alis is an IRC service to help you find channels. For help on using it, see "/msg Alis help list" or ask in #freenode. Example usage: "/msg Alis list http" [22:26] thank you for this info [22:36] you're welcome :) === cmcmanis is now known as ChuckM
